Dr. Sarah Pike grew up in Salem, NH and recently relocated back home to Southern New Hampshire after living in the Boston area for the past 15 years. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology. She then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. During her time at Tufts, Dr. Pike served as secretary of her class, was a teaching assistant and participated in Boston community outreach programs. She was also awarded honors in Special Care Dentistry and the Thomas B. Hunt Endowed Scholarship, which is given for academic excellence.
While at UConn and Tufts, Dr. Pike developed a passion for helping those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This led her to pursue a General Practice Residency at Tufts, which focused on advanced general dentistry and special needs dentistry. Dr. Pike then completed a second year of residency at Tufts as Chief Resident, where she was able to focus on more complex cases and spend time in the operating room. Prior to joining Maplewood Dental Group, Dr. Pike worked in private practice in the Greater Boston area.
Dr. Pike and her husband, who met in high school, currently live in Londonderry with their new daughter and rescue dog. When she is not at the office, she can be found spending time with family up in the lakes region, working on home renovation projects or completing the NYT Crossword.
